Garmin just release their first iPhone navigation app, has anyone try it and what your opinions about StreetPilot compare to other apps?

Data Hog
Here's the deal with the Garmin app for iPhone, it uses DATA for maps, poi, etc... I personally have an unlocked iphone on t-mobile, so my data stinks. Its edge speed only - which is considerably slower than 3G.
Its cool that POI are always updated because of google, maps will always be updated because of google, but because of slow data speeds, its sooooo slllllllloooooowwwww (in my situation) I'd pass.

You mean you have an unlocked iPhone from another carrier on T-Mobile... not the correct UMTS bands either, I'll wager. Therefore, it reverts to quad band 2G (Edge).
T-Mobile uses 1700/ 2100 UMTS if I'm not mistaken. ATT uses 850/ 1900 UMTS.

Oops. I meant to delete those posts rather than publish them on the site.
We get spam posts on a daily basis, and I catch most of them before they go on the site. When I do, I ban the user and put spammer in the signature.
In this case, I clicked "publish" instead of "delete" when I was trying to clear out the junk posts. It's gone now
