POI not showing on my Garmin

Just got a Garmin Nuvi1490LMT and have downloaded several POI's one being The Kentuckey Bourbon Trail which is not shwing up on my Garmin....am I doing something wrong or not looking in the right place for it??????

Make sure to touch where to,extras and custom pois last on gps once you have them loaded.
Your unit does not play mp3 you will need sox.exe and wav file for voice alerts see http://www.poi-factory.com/node/25730
To see icons on map you will need to zoom in to see them.They will show once you get close to end destination.

The custom POIs will not be
The custom POIs will not be added into the POIs that came on your 1490 - they will be stored in the Extra's folder. As I understand it they also will not be included in a POI search. You need to go to the Extras screen - choose the category and then the list of custom POIs to route to or see those at your location.
