CSV and GPX FIle Content and Format

I am getting better with using CSV files to load custom POI, but I want to make sure I am using all of this capability.

Given that, what is the schema, format, structure, etc. requirements of a CSV file so I can take advantage of all the capabilities of the GPS? Presently, I am using a Garmin GPSMAP60CSx.

Can the file be used to affect proximity alarms, speed alarms, etc. If so, how? What else?

Right now, the POI files I use only indicate waypoint locations.

Thanks

When you are dead, you don’t know that you are dead. It is only difficult for the others. It is the same when you are stupid.

Here is an FAQ that shows how to use Garmin POI Loader to do that.
