Deleted Map Still Appears on Map Info

Hi Folks:
I have a quick question. I used MapSource to transfer a map to my Nuvi 350. I have since deleted the map by deleting the gmapsupp.img file. When I display Map Info, the map still appears in the list of maps. Is there a way to delete that entry? It's not causing a problem, I'm just curious.

You asked the right question. I double checked, and there was a gmapsupp.img on my SD card. I deleted it and the entry went away. Thank you for your help. I learned something, too.

Did you use the route delete option or just delete the file? I loaded a map of Israel a while back for a business trip and had to do a map reload to get rid of it when I got back.

Thanks to another member, I solved the problem. My small test map must have been larger than I thought and it split it between my 350 and the SD card. I deleted the gmapsupp.img from the SD card and the entry disappeared.
