A 2689LMT in both our cars that we love... and a Nuvi 660 with Lifetime Maps that we have had literally forever.... And a 2011 Ford Escape with Nav System that is totally ignored!

Nor for my 250

The same here. Most likely it will show up later today.

odd...

Odd that they have the map viewer updated before the map update is actually released...it's always been the other way around and takes quite some time to get the map viewer updated to match the current mapset.

REMEMBER

to back up your GPS before the update

1490T available

My Garmin account shows the new map is available for download on my 1490T. I have lifetime maps...

Bobby....Garmin 2450LM

2011.3

I think Garmin releases the updates in some sort of logical order to owners, so the servers don't get overloaded.

Mayby they offer it to Llifetime Map update owners, or older untis first or newer untis first.

It would make sense for them to do it that way.

Does anyone know for sure ?

Done Deal////

Just downloaded 2011.3 to my 1490T (US and Canada) and went smooth as can be. Loaded it to the GPS only and it took about 20 minutes....

Downloading now

When I first saw this thread, it wasn't available on MyGarmin - checked again, and there it was...

Speed varies wildly

Garmin's site must be overloaded.

2011.30

I checked MyGarmin and it indicated the update for my 885t bot NOT my 775t.

That's odd because the 885t uses eveno mopre files than the 775t and in the past was about the last unit to be allowed to get the update.

Map update for 660

Just connected to Garmin and am now downloading 2011.30 for my 660.

If you hit the Options button, you'll a choice including saving maps on the computer so you can update another unit.

For all

For all of you that logon to your myGarmin accounts and don't see 2011.30 available just select "download again" for the 2011.20 maps currently on your GPS.

This will begin the download process and at a point in that process you will see that it is, in fact, 2011.30 that is being downloaded.

That's odd because the 885t uses even more files than the 775t (because of the VR files)and in the past was about the last unit to be allowed to get the update.

I checked that option when I loaded the 2011.30 to my 885t, but I didn't pay attention to where that installation file(s) are saved.

Any idea where I can find them ?

I can try to launch the install process with my 775t hooked up to the USB, but I assume the maps would remain Locked unbtil I get the key to Unlock them.

I have a lifetime Map sub for my 775t, but the unlock codes/keys are usually at the link for the update for each unit with the specific key to unlock the maps.

Since "MyGarmin" doesn't show any update for my 775t, it also does not show any unlock key.

I'll just keep checking back from time to time. I'm sure it will show up eventually.

Didn't work for my 775T. No 2011.30 maps to be found for that unit.

I did successfully D/L the update for my 885t.
