Last year I got a great deal on a Nuvi for my wife during Black Friday sales. This year, I am looking to upgrade from 765T. I am sure there are other out there looking for a good deal on GPSr's. So if you see a good deal, please post it here so everyone can benefit.

Garmin's on-line Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals... when I first received the e-mail announcement several days ago, the actual deals were listed on the preview page. Now there is just a notice to check back on Black Friday and Cyber Monday (11/29) to see the individual deals for those two days. I remember that the Monday deals had a special price of $60 or $70 for a lifetime map upgrade card. $60 would be a good deal... $70 is more than Amazon's regular price. Best deal I have seen is the Garmin 1450LMT with lifetime map updates and traffic for $160 + tax + shipping at Target... $7 discount codes available (google target discount code) so net is about $170.

The 1450LMT is essentially the same as the 1490LMT except the '50 doesn't have Bluetooth. Amazon's $200 deal on the 1490LMT is dead, now $275 from another Amazon vendor.

My 765t had a really aggravating touch screen too. And, traffic was rather scurvy acting, greyed icon. I got the latest firmware update, and it fixed the screen and helped with traffic reception. So, I went to liking it sorta ok, to really loving it! I am one who is not looking for another GPS, when my 765t is working so wonderfully!
Unless you are the lead sled dog, the view never changes. I is retard... every day is Saturday! I still use the Garmin 3590 LMT even tho I upgraded to the Garmin 61 LMT. Bigger screen is not always better in my opinion.

I had ordered the 1450lmt from Target Thanksgiving night using the UZXPI33P code, but was able to cancel it and use the $30 code an hour later. Great price.
Brother lucked out
My brother lucked out - He bought a 1390LMT - from Garmin of all places for $199 - Amazon was out of stock at $179. I just looked and now it is back to $299 on Garmin.

Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.
