I have been away on vacation in Europe for the past three weeks and had no internet access for that time. (my wife talked me into leaving my heavy notebook behind)
This will not happen again. Today I am going out to buy a net book and keep it in my back pocket. I never want to be without the internet for that long again.

SNOW!!!!!
First snow of the year! It is 0 C in Edmonton, AB right now and I'm glad I don't need to go out onto the roads. The snow is falling but not staying on the roads as yet. We needed the rain since it hasn't rained since Canadian Thanksgiving and that was only a sprinkle. We have had snow earlier over the years and this fall was better than most of the summer but it is always a bit of a shock when the summer driving season is OVER!!
