Hey, good news for a change. I had a bad charging cable and Garmin replaced it, even though I was out of warranty.

Not sure if there is another company that is as good as Garmin for replacing things after the warranty has expired. Very often all it takes is a phone call to Support and they are happy to help.

discontinued units, and GARMIN is still very helpfull over the phone to me. I have no complaints against them. I imagine these GPS co's are all alike. In this tough world of today and the unfriendly small business atmosphere, we should be lucky that they even answer the phone! I'll keep on with Garmin, until I find something better. Service is THE most important part of any product, and to me, their service gets an "A" from me. Good luck!
