Update maps to my Garmin Nuvi 250

Hi everybody! Im italian, so don't mind at my english... grin

I'd like to update the maps on my nuvi 250.
I have Firmware 5.00 and the maps are "City Navigator Europe NT 2008 [1] ALL". I have the latest version of Mapsource.

Contact Garmin

Contact Garmin for updates. They have several offices in Europe so it shouldn't be too difficult. You may also want to search online for lower prices from local retailers.

Or you can purchase the maps online directly from Garmin. Just go to www.garmin.com and select MAPS then BUY MAPS. Entire your info and you'll be presented with available maps for your unit.

The only free option currently available. But note, NO POIs. You'll have to load those yourself.

Anything that is copyrighted or has a license is not free. Getting it for free is stealing. It does not matter what site it is, but you won,t get help.

I believe they are open source Garmin compatible maps if that's what you meant. I can search for the links for you if you want them.

I already provided the link. What the OP is looking for is a copy of the maps that Garmin sells, but doesn't want to pay for them. Openstreetmap.org maps aren't good enough for him because those maps don't include the built-in POIs and are not made by Garmin.

While I know where to find Garmin's maps online and how to unlock them, I'm not telling. Go to Google. Google is your friend.
