I am using Garmin POI Loader and can't load .gpx files

I have a Garmin nüvi 765t and am trying to load the Fifth Third Bank POI from this site. It is in the format .gpx.xml I downloaded and saved the file in a folder to then use the Garmin POI loader, but when I choose the folder where the file is located, it says there are no valid POI files in the selected folder. Do I have to do something special for this type of file? I have loaded .csv files with no problem, but I thought the Garmin POI loader was supposed to load both types of files. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using Safari to download the files?
This is an issue with the way that the browser downloads and saves the files.
Try deleting the .XML part of the file extension and see if it works.
If not, try using a different internet browser.
Remove the .xml from the filename
Mac's put an extra .xml on the filename. Remove it so it's just .gpx
It's about the Line- If a line can be drawn between the powers granted and the rights retained, it would seem to be the same thing, whether the latter be secured by declaring that they shall not be abridged, or that the former shall not be extended.

Thank You! I deleted the .xml from the file, but I had to actually go into 'get info' and change it there as well. I appreciate the quick replies from both of you!

I have been using Safari on my Mac and had the same problem. I will try and use Firefox and see it solves the problem.
