I just received an email from Garmin letting me know that the new map download is ready for 855
the update is for 2011.20...
I got the same email today. Garmin's map update email reminders are late, late, late. If you've already updated to 2011.20, you've got the latest map update.

Probably they wait until the initial flood of downloads from folks like us is over before they send out the e-mails. Adding the non forum reading crowd to the initial download rush would probably overload their servers.

As I stated in my post above, the latest update is 2011.20 as of today, Sept 1, 2010. Nothing has changed since yesterday when I made that post.

Same here.The first notification I have ever receive from Garmin on a map update.A little late but it is a improvement to just get the notice.
