It seems a bit weird

On my last trip from Chicago IL to columbus OH my Street Pilot did some strange things it had never done before. The last map update is 2010.1.

Three times it zoomed WAAAAAAAAY OUT. This happened when a new waypoint at some distance was the next waypoint. But it has never zoomed that far out before.

For example: on US 30 East, east of Ft Wayne, I had about 130 miles to the next waypoint. The gps zoomed so far out that I could see Toledo and almost to Detroit to the north, and I-70 way to the south of me!

Is this weird, or what? It usually zooms out to about a 4-5 mile range. It is in "3d" mode when this is happening.

It is not a terrible thing, but has not happened to me before, in nearly 3 years of use.
