I finally looked at all your pictures. We enjoyed many of the same roads & parks. I was hoping to see a pic of your car with a scenic background.

What model of camera do you have?

Great pictures.I thought I would have to pry my wifes fingers off the dash board after going over the overlook for the Valley of the Gods.To be honest I got a little nervous going up that MT too.Didn't take no pictures of my Ford Freestyle at any of the sites.It was so dirty most of the time.Never has been that dirty before.Just got back from the car wash from a good cleaning.I use to have a Dodge Ram that would have been good for some of the roads we went up but this Ford held its own.

The camera I have is a Fuji Fine Pix digital 2650.It is a few years old but takes great pictures .Only 3 x zoom.I want to get a newer one with more zoom but keep holding on to it.

Charles, you may want to come north to Canada for your next extended journey. I've travelled my country to both coasts and up to Yellowknife and the Yukon, and it is BEAUTIFUL in summer.

Give it some thought...

We have traveled some of Canada by car.New Brunswick and Nova Scotia .We done the Bay of Fundy and some of the parks.It is beautiful in Canada and we do plan to explore more of it by car.When in AK we took the tour bus to the Yukon.

When we done our trip in Canada I was impressed with the rest stops.Every one of them had Internet you could use to check your email.Some of the stops were even off the main highways.Sure it is even better now.
