[Request] London Barclays Cycle Hire POIs

I am trying to find a POI file for the cycle hire stations in London and would appreciate a lot if anybody could upload.
Many thanks!

Try putting your request in the "POI Projects" forum.
They are a very new item in London and will require someone to visit each station in turn and save the locations. We have had them in Montreal for over a year now but no one has made a POI file for them yet.

[Solved] London Barclays Cycle Hire POIs

I finally found someone who created a googlemap and after much trying managed to export it to my garmin.
This is how I did it - someone might find this useful:

goto http://googlemaps.com
enter "barclays cycle hire" into the search field and click on "show search options"
select "user created maps" in the drop down box and click "search maps"
click the result on the left side
right-Click "View in Google Earth"
copy the URL link into the address field of your browser
replace "output=nr" with "output=kml" and press enter
save the kml file to your computer
goto http://www.poieditor.com/poi_convert/kml-to-gpx/
convert the kml file to gpx and save it on your Garmin to the \garmin\GPX folder

When I got to right-Click "View in Google Earth"
I got lost.

How to copy the Google Earth URL

In Internet Explorer, right-click "View in Google Earth" then select "Properties"
Right-Click into the Address(URL) field and select "Select All", then right-click again and select "copy"
Click on Cancel
Right-Click into the address bar and click "paste", then follow with replacing the "output=" reference as mentioned above.

If you use Firefox, then right-click "View in Google Earth" then select "copy link location"
Right-Click into the address bar and click "paste", then follow with replacing the "output=" reference.

Regards, Frank
