Everyone have a safe and a great week!! Leaving on a long trip this week, and plan on making use of my Garmin (and possibly the in-dash GPS also). Georgia to New Brunswick (family reunion) and Nova Scotia for some sightseeing....

This morning according to my electronic rain gauge, it rained 4.29 inches and we lost power for 3 hours. It is supposed to get up to 95 and this evening the rains return. It is 85 now with 72% humidity.
Thursday we leave for Arizona and California to return our grandson who has been staying with us this summer.
I just uploaded a Historical Markers file giving locations West of the Mississippi with a 5,000 foot warning so that my wife can read the inscription on the Garmin as we pass. Saves time by not stopping at the boring ones.

Better Late....
Just in from my Las Vegas to Phoenix commute. I noticed very little DPS presence and was surprised to see a Maricopa County Sheriff vehicle coming out of Bullhead City toward Kingman. He was riding in the left lane where all the signs state "Keep Right except to pass." So many motorists were afraid to pass him on the right causing a slowdown in traffic.
