Anyone know when the new maps will be out?

I think the OP is asking when he can purchase 2011.20 on DVD or SD card, not the download that is currently available.

It usually is some days/weeks between the initial download product being available and the ability to purchase the 'hardcopy' version.

Thanks, That was what I was asking. I see they released a high density SD firmware update for my unit, so I'm assuming I will have to purchase the SD card when it comes out. Althoygh I may just purchase a numaps one time download, and see if that will work.

If the OP is looking for the DVD or microSD, it looks like they are available at the Garmin site. If you click on the View Map tab is shows 2011.20, but I would get a live person on the line to confirm that is what will ship if ordered.

Most of us are familiar with the nüvi process. In-Dash units are possibly different in how they get updated. Anyone have more info on how it's done.

Do they release every update version on DVD? It was my understanding that they only put the initial version on DVD each year (2011.10). Or perhaps I am getting it mixed up with the SD version? Maybe someone who has purchased maps on SD or DVD will confirm or clarify this.
