7x5 chipset M hotfix

After Ii did the 2011.2 map update Ii checked Webupdater to see what was updated/not updated since old map updates required a firmware update first but this one did not. I found a Chipset M hotfix update listed. It did not say what was being updated. I took it and also got a timezone update.

Any ideas what was updated?

The Chipset M hotfix is an update to the instructions for the processor, like a BIO's update on the computer. The time zone update is to fix the way the DST is calculated, especially in NA with the longer times now mandated.

I didn't update maps, I still have ver. 2010.2 but, after downloading this update I noticed that My 765t with software ver. 4.00 is considerably more accutate than before and faster to locate satelites too...
