Is there any poi that is similar to the AAA guide offered by Magellan. I am new to this love my Garmin 1490t but the guide could be help when traveling.

I don't think you'll find an all in one POI but it's no big deal to download individual POIs for the motel chains, restaurant chains, gas stations, and anything else that strikes your fancy and upload them to your GPS
Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong.
