Question about Garmin Map Updates

If this has already been posted then apologies in advance. I just updated my Nuvi 750 with 2011.10, NuMaps Lifetime. Unless I did the update differently, did Garmin change the software. The procedure was different, three steps, and the update was completed approx 2 hours quicker than the last time I updated. Besides it being more streamlined and faster, which makes me happy, I noticed that I do not have a copy in Mapsource like with previous downloads. I like having a copy on my hard drive.
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks d-moo70 for the fast reply. Confused on the copy to my computer hard drive. I may have missed it but I did not see anything for the standard or advanced installation option. Is it true then that we can't save a copy to the computer hard drive anymore.

The option is right at the very beginning. If you go back into Garmin website you may have the option to re download, so can rerun the install, but watch out for the advanced option.
