MapSource - 2nd map installation

Hi,
Purchased Nuvi 275T with 2 maps Europe & US
I updated (for free) Europe map this installed MapSource on my Pc - can now view Europe map on PC.
I want to view US map on PC - Mapsource says "product not installed" but it has same 25 char code as shown on myGarmin > installed maps.
How do I get this map loaded onto the PC?

You'll need to update the North American maps like you did the ones for Europe. Pick the option in the update process to update the Nuvi and place a copy of the map file on your computer.

The problem you have now is that the maps are installed on your Nuvi but not on your computer.

Update - but not purchase?

Hi,

Thanks for the advice, but can I update the US map without buying another update?

When purchasing the Nuvi I got one free update.

No

You updated the Euro maps, and that was your freebie. On my 775T, I updated the NA maps, and have to purchase the Euro maps if I want them. My Euro's are 2010.10.
