2011.10 was released in late April. If you believe in quarterly updates then no new version is expected until late July.

LOL, always looking for the next upgrade? I wouldn't expect to see any type of map upgrade before late July / early August timeframe.

My new lifetime update card is getting hot in my hand

I was just informed by NAVTEQ that another report I made has been verified and will be rolled out. It is minor but will probably take a year to see.

At $100.00 canadian for each upgrade, one might be better off to sell the old one after the second upgrade and buy a new unit. I sure like the 3790T, can't say i like the price though.

i live in nyc so there are usually very little changes that i notice anyway.

one thing i see always improving in upgrades is the poi info. even if the roads dont change much info improves

I bought a lifetime update card from a vendor and didn't try to activate it until after I got the new Garmin, a couple months later. Was I shocked to find the message when I tried that the card had not been authorized by the ventor through Garmin. Luckily the large internet seller that represented the vendor made good on the purchase with a credit to my credit card.

Activate your card ASAP to make sure you don't get cheated, if you used an internet seller other than Garmin.

Good to know. Luckily I activated a 7 month old card from Amazon yesterday for my 3790T and had no problems at all, other than there is no map update available. The 3790T came with 2011.10 installed.
