POI loader Error

I was trying to load some new POI to my Harley Road Tech Zumo 660 and kept getting a "not responding" message for athe windows application. I let it run from several hours and it finally gave me an error, which I sent to Garmin. It seems if you setup your directory path with sub-directories so you can caterize things as suggested on this site, and you did not put anything in a sub-directory the loader has a problem....
Simple fix, do not setup a sub-directory until you have something to go into it....
Hope this keeps someone from making the same mistake I did.

That's something to keep in mind. I've never run into that problem but then I haven't used empty directories in the past either.

Your problem sounded interesting, so I set up a test with one subfolder with data and another subfolder that was empty. POI Loader (version 2.5.4) completed successfully.
What version of POI Loader are you running?

No sure of the version, it gets loaded via the internet. But that is the responce I got when I reported the problem to Garmin.... I deleted the empty folders and it worked...
