Hi All,
I'm new to the POI files, but they look very cool and I'm sure once I get the hang of these it should be very helpful.
I have a Garmin Nuvi 360 and I am currently trying to get all my locations I have added over the years downloaded to my Mac. No help from Garmin on this one yet.
I'm mostly looking for and want to create off road way points for exploring in a Jeep.

As far as saving your favorites, you can use Mapsource and download them into it. You can then save the file on your computer.

You should be able to learn a lot here in a little time. I often use Google Earth to check out the terrain and features when I'm planning a new hike in the woods. Mapsource will communicate with Google Earth, too, but not sure it goes both ways. That might be one thing to try out for you Jeeping needs!
