i just bought my garmin 465t ,for truck mode it say max of weight per axle ....that mean one weight for a axle or total weight for each axle???
We don't see a lot of 465T owners on the forum, but I hope someone will be able to give you an answer. In the meantime, you might be interested in in this article: http://gpsmagazine.com/2009/05/garmin_nuvi_465t_truck_gps_re...
Weight per Axle is the maximum weight permitted for EACH axle separately. There's only one setting so if for some reason the front or rear axle have different weight ratings, you should set it for the highest one.
set the axle weight for 34k and the trailer height for 13.6 and length for 75 feet if you dont hall hazmat live it alone
I plan to get the 465T when the price drops after Thanksgiving. I think it will be very useful for navigating with my travel trailer.
Actually, set the axle weight for 17k, since it wants individual axles. 34k is the max for the tandems.
