If you have questions, I suggest you start with the FAQs and then ask away.
"Trying to wrap my head around the cam/red lights right now." Great way to start, but don't stop there - keep going and before you know it you will be hooked - even making your own POI's.
Welcom aboard, it is always good to have new members.
Welcome to the site.Plenty of custom pois to download.
people here are very helpful answering questions you may have. Reading FAQ and doing some searches were what I did when I first joined.
It will amaze you on the things and information you can find here. Have fun.
You may also want to take a look at this site. http://home.comcast.net/~ghayman3/garmin.gps/index.html
And like any big family, some family members are more helpful than others.
But look around, ask questions, and lend a helping hand when you can!
Welcome, it is nice to have you joining us.
this site is very informative and forum very active. you are in good hands.
You will be addicted to it.
Lot's of good information here, and helpful people. The FAQ's are a great place to start for tutorials on your unit.
Enjoy the site!
red light cams are the newsmakers on this site. but the interesting poi (best crabcakes/markets/stadiums/gas stations) will make traveling hella fun.
if you have a garmin nuvi, the numerous vehicles add awesome value.
I expect you'll be back---there's an endless supply of good stuff here.
Welcome and enjoy.
I am new myself. Really fun site. Of course my wife insisted the first thing I download was the POI file for rest stops. Sigh.
Another big welcome to the site!
Mr. Ken's Rest Area POI is always at the top of the list for most requested files. You may also want to download the truck stops and there are several files for regular gas stations as well.
Be sure to check the FAQs and when you have a week or two to try to absorb a lot of information on just about everything you wanted to know about your GPS try:
I confirm this is a real treasure trove for GPS users, noobs and the likes. And the community is really great as well !
Enjoy your stay.
After you finish with the red light cams you might want to relax with the "wineries" or the "breweries" POI files!
It's a cool site and the people here are very friendly. If you have any questions about how to use the site or comments or suggestions they are welcome.
