I know I won't be popular with some for saying this, but even after watching this tip of the iceberg of what's out there, some people will complain these cameras are an invasion of privacy, not accurate, all that stuff. Sad.

I am a strong believer in RLC's. They save untold lives, and many, many accidents. There is no telling how many cars do not run the lights, knowing the cameras are there!

If folks obeyed the law and cared for others instead of thinking of just themselves things likes this would happen less often.

Those are some nice videos. Several of those drivers need to have their driving privileges revoked FOR LIFE (before they take someone else's).

The driver in the video at the bottom needs to also be removed permanently from the road. I cannot see how that person could ever be fixed.

With the idiots shown in the video, taking their drivers license away will not stop them as they will drive without one and do the same stupid things.

There is just as much evidence that redlight cameras cure acne as there is that they prevent accidents.

I failed to see any accident prevented in any of the video.

The only thing I saw was the recording of several accidents so the city and the private company could make a few bucks off the violators.

Nope, no accidents avoided.

Due to the violence in SPRINGFIELD, MA... cops have to worry about the six murders that happen every day, not traffic violations.

They lay off the cops, and fire fighters and complain that it takes so long for these services to come to the poor sections. The politicians aren't going to get rid of the cops/fire dept in their areas (the rich areas), just the poor areas that rarely vote!

Cameras would be a good way to nail the people afterward, since there isn't any way they can be proactive! Unfortunately enforcement cameras seem to be illegal around here.

I hope they throw the most egregious offenders in jail. That could have been any one of us that got hit by a red light runner. Remind me to stay out of Springfield!

We can't fix stupidity.

Red light cameras give the law the opportunity to ticket flagrant scofflaws who run red lights. Even when there's no accident resulting, the offenders pay a fine.

If there were cops there instead of cameras these idiots would have been written up for lots more than running a light - some may have lost a license and some may have done time. How many were drunk and not caught because a camera replaced an officer?

RLC's may save lives, indeed, but there are some drivers that are unaffected by cameras or police.

Even though the cameras didn't stop the drivers from going through the lights, it does tell who caused the accidents. There cannot be any defense in court.
Hopefully after seeing this video it will make some drivers think twice while driving.
