File association
You either don't have a spreadsheet program on your computer or you have the CSV extension associated to Adobe.
Which Browser are you using and what operating system?

OK, thanks

Do a Google search for "file associations windows 7". You need to disassociate .csv files from Adobe Acrobat and set the association to a program like Excel (if you have it) or even Notepad/WordPad...maybe even no association at all.

File Associations with Windows 7
Each file in your Windows OS, has an extension in its filename eg. .txt, .doc, etc. These extensions are used to identify the program, with which to open this file. You can set or change these file type associations in your Windows 7. In XP you had it in Folder Options. In Windows 7 you don't see it, though.
To set File Associations in Windows 7 or Vista, Open Control Panel > Control Panel Home > Default Programs > Set Associations. Select a file type in the list and click Change Program.
You want to associate .CSV files with Excel. If you don't have Excel, associate it with NotePad or WordPad. Hope this helps.

Richard: Do you get teh
Richard:
Do you get teh option to open/save the file when you click on the yellow button? When I click on it, it asks me what I want to do with it. Since I am using this to put into my Garmin, I just save it instead of trying to open it.
If you don't get this option, then it must be a setting in Windows that is by-passing this step. I don't have anything handy, but I think as has been mentioned above, you need to chnage the association of it and it might give you that option again.
I am going to do some searching to see what I can find.
Thanks
Alan

I just ofund this link. It might mean you need to edit your registry, which I don't recommend if you are not used to it, or the other solution I can think of is to go into your internet options and reset all back to the default. I think this will reset this, but not sure.

For Anyone Else WIth This Problem
...or any problem with a file extention association...
You may even prefer that 99% of the files open with "program-A"...
Nothing would have stopped our intrepid flash from starting notepad (or any program capable of reading the csv file) and then opening said file from within the program.

Step 1
Right click file and select open with. This will bring up window with the file associations.
Step 2
If excel, notepad, or wordpad is there select your choice, click check box to open as default.
Step 3
If not there, select browse for program, after program found select program, follow step 2.

Another Option in Windows 7
Another Option in Windows 7.
Select Computer Icon or Click Start, and select Computer.....
Now with Computer Window open hit the ALT key one time.
The File, Edit, View, Tools and Help Menu will reappear (Just like XP).
If you want to keep the XP looking Folder options, select Tools, Folder Options, Click the View Tab and Select ALWAYS SHOW MENUS. This will leave the Menu line always available in windows 7 just like XP.
