1390T brings back old Favorites ????

Ok, I searched and didn't find anything on this. My Garmin 1390T likes to bring back favorites I deleted.

I am wondering where these are stored in which folder so I can PERMINENTLY DELETE THEM twisted ....

Lets say you went to someplace you didn't want your buddies to know about (Like an Interview) and after words you delete said location from your Garmin unit, only to have it decide to ADD IT BACK to the favorites list. Where someone playing with it could say hey when you you there. (I need a hammer for my GPS unit mad )

Not only did that reappear so did all the airports I have marked and since removed and they put them selves back in the Transit group I ALSO removed from favorites.

Things that make you say hhhmmmmm.......

.

If you have favorites in a .gpx file (named anything *but* current.gpx) in the GPX folder, these will be imported on a power-cycle regardless of if they were deleted on the nuvi. Current.gpx is a shadowed copy of all favorites currently on the unit at bootup and is an output file only. If you delete it, it will be regenerated on a power cycle.

Connect the nuvi to the PC and delete all of the *.gpx files in the GPX folder. On the nuvi, delete the favorites using My Data.
