Nuvi 1490t problem

Hi I have a nuvi 1490t and I have done all the updates.
Freezing problem better now (I Hope).
But I live in a small town in Indiana I drive 30 miles to work on an State hiway there are many intersecting county roads the nuvi shows them all sometimes then on the way home wont show any.Or sometimes wont show any on the way.
It will show intersecting state hiways when it starts this and show the route I am on and is not frozen.
Twice now I have been watching it and it is showing a couple of Intersecting County roads coming up and it will kinda do a auto zom in out and zap all the county roads are gone! How can they be there sometimes and not the next starting to really annoy me.
The bluetooth and the volume on this unit is superb.
It was a refurbished unit from Newegg.com 189.00 got an extended warranty for another 19.00 garmin 1year and 1 year on the purchased warranty garmin gave me the map update and overall no other problems other than the disappearing roads.
The 1490
The 1490, like most Nuvi models, uses "autozoom". As your vehicle speeds up or slows down the zoom level of the map display will change. As you zoom level changes the about of detail, or lack or it, will also change on the display. This is want I think you are seeing.
Nuvi 350, 760, 1695LM, 3790LMT, 2460LMT, 3597LMTHD, DriveLuxe 50LMTHD, DriveSmart 61, Garmin Drive 52, Garmin Backup Camera 40 and TomTom XXL540s.
Dissapearing roads
Yeah I was starting to suspect that was the case lase night when I got closer to town I was coming up on another county road it was not showing the road at all I zoomed in one press on the + and it showed it but it was just in the nick of time and then I passed it. So I did not know if it was coincidence or if zooming in will make them show back up it is very agitating to see your roads the screen adjust and then they are gone now it adjusts and adjusts back so it is the same size as it was just a few minutes ago and it was showing the roads.I will investigate this further.
Dissapearing roads Problem May be solved
It seem that indeed when this does happen I can zoom back in a bit and the roads are back. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED IN TOWN.
Only when out on the highway every once in a while the screen will be showing the county roads intersecting with my road and then the screen will auto resize it self and my roads are gone.
This happened today on a short drive. I pressed the + one time to zoom in and they were back on the screen and then it was fine the rest of the short trip.
So now it seems that there are no problems with this unit I highly recommend it.
The Blue tooth on this unit is fabulous even with my crappy trackfone volume levle at 80% is almost too loud. This had been the draw backs to the previous nuvis. This kept me from buying the 885t with voice command which I really wanted.
Another person has told me they live in a big city and the traffic info is great.
And people that buy it might as well consider buying the refurbished units because garmin is treating them as new.
NewEgg.com has them still for 189.00 and another year warranty is only 19.00.
