I don't know if any of you have been paying attention to many of the Avatars used here, but I owe mine to two different users.
Rayzers animated it for me and BobDee modified it so it shows "POI-FACTORY." If you are having problems with getting your avatar "just right" I suggest you drop a note to these two.
Cool. I like BobDee's avatar as it kind of looks like my Maine Coon cat mix. LOL
Thanks. Good to know when I decide to change mine.
I don't even have an avatar! What would you suggest for me?
I am allergic to cats...
I made my avatar by scanning a patch that I got when I transferred to the 509th Fighter Bomber Squadron in 1957. Then I used Irfanview to resize the image to 80 by 80 pixels.
Mine was from my wedding! And no, I am not a crooked southern politician!
Glad YOU said that
Glad YOU said that
Although the thought has crossed my mind! LOL
Like he might be a mississippi boat gambler.
Like he might be a used car salesman!
I was voted most likely to be a used car salesman by my high school class.
I made my own.
I'd probably buy a car from you. Your a testament to our community!
Have I got a deal for you . . .
It's the "official" nickname for my LandRover Freelander first series, and I must admit it does look a bit hippo-esque from its shape and the side mirrors playing the ears.
Dunno if you guys see them often in the US, they're quite frequent here in Europe. And I really like this rig, even if it's "just a car"
Then LandRover changed the look, and they stopped being called Hippos...
But I still like to take mine to play in the mud, it actualy performs quite well in off-road !
Mine is a picture of "The Wall" in Washington, DC in memory of the 59,000+ men and women who died fighting for our freedom in Vietnam. Let's take some time on the 31st of May and remember these people who willingly gave up their lives so that we may be free today. I have two friends whose names are on "The Wall". Both died at the ripe old age of 19.
Thanks, Looks great!!
Nothin fancy on mine
I'm a fan of role playing games, one in particular. So I superimposed a picture of someone (Christian Slater I think) on top of the game's imperial starburst logo.
Heck...my user name also reflects that game. So...if I want to change mine (unlikely), I'll do up my own.
I'm trying to change mine but the new one won't take? It's small enough in size, what gives?
Try changing it then log out then log back in, I've had to do that sometimes.
I have changed mine a few times.Sometimes it doesn't change right away.Make sure to hit the submit tab at bottom of page.
Or hit "refresh" in the browser once or twice.
I was hitting submit, I was also refreshing. Signed out for a few hours just hit refresh again and it changed.
Sometimes you just have to log off to clear your head. Then you can operate the mouse properly. Been there! Sometimes its the eyes that stop working correctly after looking at the screen for too long also.
Curious, your avatar still looks the same to me.
Here's a little tip I've shared before - not here, though...
Right-click on desktop background, New, Shortcut - the command you want to type is as follow
C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe InetCpl.cpl,ClearMyTracksByProcess 8
Ah, this is one line, of course - there ONE space before InetCpl, and another one between Process and the number 8. Pick a nice-looking icon, and you're done.
This works for all the browsers I have on my here machine, hope it'll help and come in handy to some of you out there.
Lots of the avatars are good.
In this one I'm wearing my Phillies shirt with a baseball background.
cant remember where I got mine, but it suits me.
I have a great gif to fit my nick, but it is animated and wont fit
I have 36 personal comrades enshrined on the wall.
