So i went in to make some updates to a POI file that i had made long ago -
and now when i do an update this is what i get (What am i doing wrong???)
I have tried making this in 4 column in excel to CSV and also in Text edit!! i am going nutz Help!!!

Are You Missing Line Breaks?
I copied your text.
Pasted it into an ascii text document.
I put in line breaks before each of the poi's (they all start with -111).
Then I saved it.
I renamed the file to "CafeRioTX.csv.
I opened it in Excel to view it. Each POI seemed to be in rows.
I loaded it using POILoader.
They were all on my GPS with the data nicely formatted.
I hope this helped. I suspect it was the line breaks that made the difference.
Intresting find
So I have just realized - that the csv files are working great via POI loader - this problem is only happening when I try to load this csv file to this site as a poi list to share.

Mac vs Windows
I think the problem lies in a key difference between Mac and Windows and how the two OS's record "end of line" in text files. One uses Line Feed character at the end of line, the other uses Carriage Return character at the end of the line. Same thing happens with Windows vs Unix/Linux. You should be able to adjust that in your text editor preferences or when you do a "save as".
What's happening is that it is not recognizing your end of line character that's been saved in your file, and it sees the file as one very long SINGLE line instead of one line per POI.

then i realized that using a MAC made it a little different
Create Files using Text Edit
Use format -111.111111,33.333333,"XYZ","address
City, St. Zip
(123) 555-1234"
Leave a blank space between each line
save using Plan text encoding Non-lossy ASCII
save using extension .csv
i.e Example -
-117.689055,33.641619,"Cafe Rio Lake Forest","24321 Rockfield Blvd
Lake Forest, CA 92630
