does anyone know if its possible to put marine maps on a sd card? and will it work on a nuvi? thanks

Maps are available by DVD or SD card straight from Garmin. Check each maps compatibility with your nuvi model:

Hi

You can put marine maps on a garmin, the 5xx model is made for using with marine maps.

I have tried a marine map on my 765, BUT, some of the important details like depth curves do not show on screen, so i stop use it and got me at plotter.

i have the gmapsupp file on

i have the gmapsupp file on my sd card, but freezez the garmin when i turn it on. any sugestions?

How did you load the maps to the SD card?

Are they unlocked to that GPS unit?
