How do I download routes

I have used Mapsource and Mapquest to download a route I created to my Garmin Nuvi 760, but when I go to the routes button, I find no routes there. How do I download routes, or where do I find the routes I downloaded?

Transfer the route to the nuvi, then on the nuvi go to Tools - My Data - Import route from file.

It is possible to transfer the route wirelessly using Bing Maps and an MSN Direct connection which requires a MSN Direct Receiver.

Transfer the route to the nuvi, then on the nuvi go to Tools - My Data - Import route from file.
