Am trying to do some customs POI's and not having much success or maybe my Nuvi 750 has quit doing POI's?!? I have found my 750 is .25 miles different than Google earth when I do Long. & Alt. Is this pretty normal or which would be more correct? Thanks
Coordinate format
Just taking a guess here, but you might be using 2 different coordinate formats. To change the format on your nuvi, go to Where To - Coordinates - Format. Most people find the decimal degrees (h ddd.ddddd) the easiest format to use.

I will try what you have suggested. My 750 is degrees and minutes but I will switch to all degrees. I have been considering an 855. How do you like yours?
maps can be off
I have found that Google Satellite view can be shifted from the map view or from the coordinates that my GPS returns. Unfortunately it seems that all map services use Navteq data, so if they're off, you'll have to wait for the changes to trickle down. First step is to report problems.

OK! thanks. Maybe if I change my 750 to use all degrees rather than degree, minutes I will have more luck doing poi's.
