I just can't seem to have any luck with my 765t. First, I've been having constant touch-screen issues and had to return 2 units because of that. Then I received a unit that sounded like it had a bad speaker. With the default volumes, it had that crackly foil sound whenever Jill would say something. I got a replacement and it seemed OK on default, but when I put the volume higher (like 90%) it starts to distort. I went into the service menu and played the test tone, and it's fine at 70%, but once I put it up to 80% or higher, it's all garbled and sounds like it's crackling. I even used audacity to generate an mp3 with a single tone (I forget the frequency) and even on the default volume it's all garbled. Is that just the way these units are? It seems odd I would have 2 with the same issue, but at least at default levels Jill sounds OK. I just want to know if doing another exchange will help anything because I didn't notice this with the previous units that had the touchscreen issue.
