Extract certain Red Light Cameras from CSV file

I created a simple Excel VBA module that asks the user for the lat, long of a map area (the upper left and lower right corners of a rectangle), and extracts only red light cameras from the master red light file that fall within this map area.

Then, it uses jpbrannigan's GPX file converter and builds a RedLightCameraExtract.gpx file which can be imported into MapSource.

This makes the file size manageable and loads only those cameras that are of current interest.

Is there a place on POI Factory where we can upload utilities like this - glad to share and make it available.

And thanks for jpbrannigan for sharing his GPX file converter which my simple program calls.

Rigel, Send me a copy and I

Rigel,
Send me a copy and I will have JM look at it. Thanks for creating this, we really appreciate all the help that we continue to get from everyone in the effort to make this the best POI site in the US.

Added a download page

I've added a page to download rigel / jpbrannigan's Excel file. See the related link at the top of this page.

If feedback is generally positive, I'll also add a link from the FAQ section.

If you're wanting to pull out certain red light camera locations, POI Verifier will do this by entering state abbreviations.
