A-26?

Hi Chief, your avatar looks like an A-26B. Did you work on those? I know the USN flew them as well as the USAAF and the USAF.

Dumb -

That does seem kind of - wait a minute, did I say kind of - stupid! Right hand vs left hand doesn't begin to explain the problem. Put this one down in your little book of stuff to laugh at when you're old and in the home.

Isn't that kinda like trying

Isn't that kinda like trying to ban all cell phone use in a car, yet encouraging people to call in an erratic driver?

Well, except in the case of 35 states where they want you to dial 5-1-1 for the latest road information.

I think the intent is that

I think the intent is that you can "read" a text message, but not "write" a message. Dats what I tink...

Work on it

The DRIVER Can't Send or Read Text Messages

I'm not sure what the complaint is here.

If the law says YOU can't send or read text messages while driving, that does not mean that someone else can't send a text message to you while you're driving. Just don't read your messages until you're stopped and it is safe to do so - the messages will still be there.

EASY......

It's texting!

You got it

I agree. Although, it will not completely resolve the problem, our elected leaders should be limited to the length of time they can serve. If so, we may find that they would not be so self serving.

I think the law is okay. It does not matter if the state agencies still send traffice alert texts or even The President text you. You still don't need to read it while driving.

In short when you are driving DO NOT USE YOUR CELLPHONE.
