How can I change the opening screen from the Garmin logo to the logo for my vehicle, like the start up for factory units?

Any help would be appriciated.

Try searching

Try searching the forum for "splash screen" and you will find lots of posts that will help you with this. Basically you can use any .jpg file and I'm sure a search will give you the best size of picture to use.

You can put a picture with

You can put a picture with the text of your contact info - email, cell phone #, etc, in case the GPS is lost and an honest person finds it, they can return it to you.
