Additional waypoint icons

I got a Zumo but just find one thats the right size and save it with the 001, 002 name in the folder that contains the blue dots. It will substitute your file.

Ok I got the mapsource icons to work and they show up on the GPS unit .
Now how about
On the unit itself for ex.
When you mark a new waypoint you arrive at the screen for selecting the name

When you highlight the icon and press enter to select the icon there are 24 purple squares with blue circles in them.The header says Custom.
How do you add these ?

That I honestly do not know but would be interested in finding out. Just lacking the time to do the research, trail and error method.

I don't think the Zumo supports custom waypoint icons (yet), but apparently you can do in on the 60CS using xImage.

Note that this is for Waypoints/Favorites. For Custom POIs (as has been stated), you need to create a bmp (24x24 or smaller) and name it with the same name as your POI file and put it in the same directory as your POI file when you run POI Loader.

Downloaded xImage , works great You can even use photographs very easy thanks.
