POI Icons on the GPS

I am woundering, how many people here use icons for there POI locations?
I find using them can be good for some uses and bad for others.
I think it is also the way they are created and what type of GPS you have.
I have a large collection of these icons for use (and starting to make my own to fit some of my other POI)
Has anyone made any here? What do you think of maybe having files in a central location somewhere so that we can share them? Maybe the great admin's can do something like that! Just thinking out loud!!

I think thats a great idea....but i've been having trouble associating them with new items...I would love to have a Chevron logo for my chevron POI

Ok.. Was wondering, Anyone out there need any Icons? Willing to try to get it made for you if anyone needs it. We can get it posted here then..
I would like to think that I can create them ok.. and that the users here are using them!

Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.

As Miss POI pointed out I hit the quote button on the wrong post above, but the one in the POI Factory files is better.
