With so many GPS owners worry about thieve and mark on windshield mark.

Still Uses Suction Mount

If I understand this unit, it still uses the original suction mount to adhere to a disk on the friction pad. For not much more, you can get rid of that weak link.

Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.

I have one and it works

I have one and it works great. The suction cup is a problem but for $12 it is a great buy.

Go for the Garmin one

I recommend the Garmin one just because you've invested so much into a navigation unit. Why nickel and dime how it is secured on your vehicle.

The Real Garmin Friction Mount is the Mount that should come with all Garmins...It is the best.
