Routes and POI's not transferring

I have a Nuvi 765, and got a Nuvi 1490T for Xmas.
I have transferred my routes from the 765 to my hard drive and then
have tried to transfer them to the 1490T, using Mapsource, with no luck.
I have tried it several times. The transfer says it is successful and the the
..\GPX\Temp.gpx changes every time I try it but no Routes.

I have even tried creating a new route and it says it transferred successfully
but I still have no routes on my 1490T.
The same thing is happening with my Custom POI's, using POI Loader.
They all say they were transferred but no POI's show up on my 1490T.
I had no problem tranferring POI's from my 365 to my 765 when I upgraded to the 765.

FYI, I am up to date on all software and map on the 1490T.

Thanks,

Routes not xfering

Not familiar with that unit, but 2 places to check.

See if the routes were transferred as favorites or if they are files in My Data that need to be imported

Found the answer for Routes

After transferring, the Routes have to be imported.
Tools/My Data/Import Routes.
Done.

Now to work on why POI's are not transferring.
Thanks for the response.

How are you loading them?

Are you copying and pasting the .GPI files? It would be better to rerun POI Loader from the source files after updating them with the latest versions from POI Factory's extensive list.

I believe the 1XXX series will require you to use .WAV alerts, so you need your SOX on.

Figured it out

The Custom POI's do not show up until you press the "Custom POIs" label at the top of the unit.
Now I have to figure out how to get rid of duplicates.
But at least they are there.

Quoting for future reference.
