First Time POI dowload (Magellan)

Where is the downloading instructions for dummies section? I'm being serious. I have a Magellan 1412 and wanted to download a new map. Wandered across this site and want to download some poi's. Help.

This is what I've done so far:
Download the POI editor from my magellan CD and downloaded the poi's I want on my desktop.

That's as far as I can get.

If someone is really bored and would like to walk me through it that would be great.

Thanks

For Magellan

Just within the last 2 days, someone was nice enough to post the ENTIRE process.....in two different threads. AND I'm pretty sure there already was a fair description in the FAQ section before that.

Please try to help yourself just a TINY bit.
