Another unit, another problem

I guess I'm just not meant to have a functioning 765. Just got my forth unit after 5 returns (one problem, the battery, they fixed without replacing), spent most of the night setting it up & was just now pairing with my iPhone. It pairs just fine, will ring through the unit on an incoming call & it'll dial out but I get no audio through the gps at all. I've paired it a few times now, once from the gps & the other from the phone -same story.

On another subject, this one has fairly major touchscreen issues too. And yes, I've re calibrated it a few times, using a stylus. I was willing to live with that if I could just get the d##mn thing to work somewhat close to how it's supposed to.

As I've posted a number of times, I really like this thing but it's clear that Garmin is incapable of making a quality unit.... or they just hate me??

Not lost anymore. Well, not as it pertains to driving anyway. -Garmin Nuvi 765t, 56 unt Mac user.

Maybe you should look at another model

After four 765t units and five returns I don't think you are meant to have a GPS unit, I think you should go back to paper maps. wink

Maybe you should look at another model. I haven't had any problems with my 885t or with it bluetooth pairing and use with my LG Voyager and LG Touch phones.

Nuvi 265wt

I picked up the Nuvi 265wt 3 weeks ago and it works great. Only cost me $150 at Amazon. I paired it with my blackberry and it works fine.
