Nuvi 765T for $188 at Amazon.com

what's the difference between 765T and 780, besides T?

Can't add compare at Garmin since 780 is discontinued and too lazy to do otherwise? Anyone has a oneline summary?

I believe the main differences are that the 780 has MSN traffic, 765T has free lifetime FM traffic with ads. Also new features of 7x5 series are lane assist, junction view, Ecoroutes, 3d buildings.

My experience with this retailer is very positive. They ship much faster than Amazon that tends to delay orders with free shipping.

Since the economy went south, Amazon has been shipping instantly on every order I've made that had free shipping. Books arrive in two or three days after I place the order.

The vendors that sell through them have been pretty quick lately too, but not as fast as something coming directly from Amazon.

Agreed that Newegg ships fast.

With the economy on the rocks and none of the "experts" sure how much we are going to spend this year, I've noticed a lot of prices from a lot of different vendors going up $10-$30 the past day or so. On the same items, too.

I betting they are hoping by raising prices now, it will make the Black Friday discounts more attractive to encourage quick purchases.

Best buy will have Nuvi 765T on sale this friday, price will be around low $200. Google the coupon for extra 12% off and buy it now. The coupon will exclude this friday price.

If Newegg has the 765T for $189, now, why wait for black Friday? You would think Back Friday price would be cheaper, although, the $189, was a refurbished price.

Just over $200 at Sam's Club. I paid $279 there couple months ago.

I really like dealing with Amazon. It is a great place to buy. they stand behind there sales as well as anyone. I have had them credit my account because they lowered the price within a week after I bought something.

I saw the refurbs online for $199....I got a NIB one at Car Toys for $209.

Radio Shack has it on sale NEW until 12/30/09 as a web only special for 209.99 with FREE shipping if you select the "ship to store" option (rather than your home).
