Red-light camera debate to resume

The Loma Linda City Council tonight will resume discussions of a proposal to end the use of red-light cameras at four intersections.
City Council has proposed ending the contract with Redflex Traffic Systems, and instead having yellow lights operate a second longer to cut the chance of accidents

Huh?

Would that be to say they cut the redlight times for the cameras? Hmmm.

Councilman Ovidiu Popescu echoed Rigsby's sentiments.

"I have heard it over and over again: 'I no longer like coming to Loma Linda because of the red-light cameras,' " Popescu said. "There is people who stopped going to the doctor in Loma Linda because of red-light cameras. There is people who avoid certain streets and go to other streets, cause more problems, because of red-light cameras."

"There IS people who etc...etc.....
There IS people who avoid certain streets etc....etc...."
