Hi,
I have a NUVI 205. Is it possible to add custom POIs that are displayed on the map, but do not create any alert sound?
Im assuming one of the following must work:
1) Remove any speed or distance reference in the csv
2) Set the speed to something very high, such as 999?
3) create a silent mp3 as the alert sound
Does anyone know if any of the above will work?

The reason i am doing this
The reason i am doing this is that I do not want the alert to ping for mobile cameras since they are rarely patrolled..im happy just to see the icon on the device

I would think that #3 would work. At least, it seems logical that it would. However, I have never tried this myself.

Hi,
I have modded the files to remove speed/distance and any text related to speed alerts. Im going to test that shortly.
If that doesnt work then its option 3 time!
All custom pois show up on
All custom pois show up on the map if you are zoomed to 300 ft level. If you have loaded a icon bmp, it will show on both navigation and road map screens. You do not need to set as an alert - just load with poi loader in the express mode.
