Street name is not being said by voice prompt

I have within the past several months purchased a Garmin 265wt. Everything I have read recently about this unit says it is suppose to say the name of the street when giving directions. Mine does not. All it speaks out is, to turn right, in .02 miles, as an example.
At no time have I ever heard it say the name of the street. It does however, display the name of the street at the top of the screen, but does not say it. What am I doing wrong? Or is this something that should be done on updates or something on the Garmin site. Or is this something-saying the name of the street-that it is not within it's spec. to do and mis-information about this is out on the internet.
Speaking Street Names
If I remember correctly from a long time ago, my 350 did not speak street names with all voices. I simply changed the voice & voila, it worked.
I do not clearly remember what type of voice worked correctly however, but you can experiment.
Hope this helps.

You Need
You need to select a voice that has (TTS) at the end of the file name. Only TTS voices can speak street names.
Go to Tools - Settings - Language - Voice and pick a voice like American English - Jack (TTS)

Yes, t923347 is right. You need a voice with TTS capabilities. TTS stands for Text To Speech. Only these voices will give you the option you're looking for.
TTS
Onita,
If it helps, the manual for your model isn't helpful on this subject. In fact it doesn't even mention TTS voices.
As already suggested, you have to navigate to the voice prompt section of your GPS and select one that has the text to speech (tts) feature. You're currently using a standard voice that only provides (as you've discovered) simple left/right directions.
BTW you can also use Garmin's Webupdater to look for additional voices for your unit if you don't care for those provided. Webupdater is a free download from the Garmin website. Once installed you just connect your GPS to your computer and follow the program prompts. You can also use the program to update vehicle icons and for firmware updates.
