Stuttering

I had noticed the stuttering problem. I used my 265WT this morning. It appears to have fixed that. I wish Garmin would move the route stop button. I am forever canceling a route when holding the Back button.

Thank you

Great heads up on the update. I will be getting it tonight.

New update

Thank you 5.70 has not been good for me
I will up date today

That was fast

Wow. I just noticed and installed 5.70 a week or two ago. The satellite lock time and accuracy were greatly improved, but I haven't noticed any stuttering. I'll hold off on the update until I notice a problem.

Is this update free with your GPS?

Yes

Yes,

This is a software (firmware) update, not a map update. Just run WebUpdater.

All updates for your Nuvi are free with the exception of map updates. Updates to the maps are free if one is released within 60 days of you first obtaining a satellite lock on your new unit.

As was suggested, you need to run Webupdater. This is a small software program that needs to be downloaded and installed on your PC. Once installed attach your Nuvi to the PC via the USB cable and run the Webupdater program. All available updates will be available to select.

You can obtain Webupdater from http://www8.garmin.com/products/webupdater/howtoinstall.jsp
