DELETE CUSTOM POI

I need to delete my Custom Poi from my Garmin 855. I don't need them any more.

Just

Just delete the poi.gpi and any other .gpi files from the Garmin\POI directory on the Nuvi's internal storage and/or your SD card.

Or you can just run POI Loader and tell it to delete the POIs.

Jack, I did that and it did not delete the Custom POI files. I had to delete the gpi files from Garmin.

This is only a guess but members have reported On the Nuvi 8x5 series. After you load the pois to your Garmin you will need to remove the battery or hold the off switch in the off position for 10 seconds to clear the memory before your new pois will take effect.Running poiloader to delete them may require that you do the same process.
